The well known documentary chain, is one of the cornerstones in the study of library and information science. Represents the ordered set of processes, activities, services and their operators that target management and the handling of documents, information and messages contained therein. Somehow, the document chain, represents a map of all the concepts that are especially important in document analysis, classification, application of the indexing languages, information retrieval, dissemination or dissemination of the documents, the concreteness and solution to the demands of the information society and the feedback cycle.
